The Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf championship golf course's front nine begins amongst the natural desert terrain and then smoothly transitions into a softer, more forgiving finish. Golfer’s may warm-up on the Oliver, BC golf course's driving range, chipping areas and putting greens before playing a round. Sloping fairways guarded by Ponderosa Pine and Willow trees greet golfers on the front nine; golf amidst the back nine’s canyon of swirling winds, gullies and elevations is a different game. The Summerland Golf & Country Club’s mostly flat and open front nine welcomes golfers with open arms; the back nine’s tight, rolling fairways and undulating greens challenge long-ball hitters to hit with accuracy along Trout Creek Canyon. A 300-yard driving range and chipping green allows golfers to master their touch before playing 18-holes.
